Intend: You must want an empty mind. Minds are built to think. They resist being quieted. Lying comfortably with eyes softly closed, pay attention to breaths. Silently count an even 4 as you inhale. Count 6 as you hold it and 8 as you blow it out fully thru lips. Repeat. Notice a heavy sinking on exhale. No other words or thoughts. Counting and feeling heavy. As others come, return to those. Again. Again.
