Not a problem....: In many situations, the buccal (cheek side) wall of bone has receded, forcing the placement of the implant a little more to the lingual. Your restorative dentist will fabricate a custom post that when screwed into the implant, will line up perfectly with your teeth. In this way the final restoration will look and feel great.

Custom abutment: The implant is placed based on the bone availability. Use of custom abutment may overcome this problem with perfect alignment and good results.
