Tongue lesion: Needs to be assess in person to get an accurate diagnosis. There are many causes of tongue lesions such as fungal and viral. Tobacco users are at an increased risked for oral cancer.

Seek Rx: Any pain, bleeding, or swelling should be immediately evaluated. Any white lesions in mouth should be immediately evaluated. Please see Oral and Maxillary Surgeon ASAP. OTCs, herbs, unguents, salves, and snake oil are NOT substitutes for a professional evaluation. Don't ignore this. Probably nothing, but get it checked.
