Had gallbladder & stones removed two months ago and pain is back on rhs agin. also getting occasional sharp pain on lhs under ribs.

You may need an: ultrasound to look at the common bile duct followed by MRCP or ERCP if there is suspicion of retained ductal stone (choledocholithiasis). Talk to your surgeon or family physician about the pains and radiological studies to rule out.
