Abdominal pain: Although your ultrasound was normal, you still might have biliary dysfunction. Your doctor may consider a hida scan to check your gallbladder function. Other areas of pain could be with your stomach or large colon. You have a fatty liver too. Consider some diet changes, especially try to stay away from high fructose corn syrup. Also, make sure your tyroid has been checked.

Depends: Depends on what causes your discomfort: foods, activities, movement, etc.? Could see a gastroenterologist for endoscopy evaluation of gastritis. Could consider hida scan evaluation to see if you have gallbladder dysfunction (biliary dyskinesia).
