Bumps on the head: Newborns and infants suffering many bumps and bruises heal quickly.With respect to the head, there is always concern for potential brain injury. As long as there is no persistent crying or change in normal behavior do not worry. Babies are seen frequently in the first year of life by Pediatricians. So any concern for internal injury should be pointed out to the them or after hours office call.
