Is it possible for a viral infection which i have in my throat to linger for 6 weeks. i don't have any infection, my doctor checked everything.

Viral infection?: Typical viral infections last only three to five days, so I would doubt that a six week infection would be due to a virus. I think this needs to be looked into more.
