No.: But being angry can raise blood pressure while mad and if that happens a lot, can be harmful. People who are Type A personalities have higher risk from heart disease and some other conditions. So controlling anger, helps health, mood and relationships. Chill!

Not necessarily: It is true that when you are angry or having a strong emotional reaction your blood pressure may go up. However having a temper does not mean that you have hypertension.
