HbA1c 4.6: DLima ~ This is a normal HbA1c. Insulin test ( which one?) reported normal. You dont have diabetes. OBGYNs do these tests for other reasons not related to diabetes. You should discuss that with your OB GYN but your levels do not warrant concern from Internal Med viewpoint thanks

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, your MD's concern may be related to lower than usual value of A1c result. If you do not have insulin hyperactivity and do not have symptoms, you should be fine. One more thing to check is hemolytic anemia.
