Eat more fibers: Bleeding from hemorrhoids is the commonest cause for bright red blood. Eating more fibers like fruits, vegetables, and salads will keep your stools soft and let it heal. You can also use something like Preparation H for the time being. If the pain is intense or persists then you might have prolapsed hemorrhoids. This might need to have its clots drained by a doctor to let it heal.
