Low hemogoblin with slight low wbc by 0.5 ex heavy drinker. 23yo. cause for concern. my doc does not seem to care about results?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Anemia with Leukopen: Liver disease can cause low blood cell counts. Continue to monitor the numbers in 3 months, if gets worse find out any other cause for the anemia. White cell count also may vary from time to time, most of the time it is benign, if continues to get lower consider consulting with a hematologist.
