Skin abscess: This sounds like exactly what you say, a pimple. More precisely, a small skin abscess, perhaps starting in a hair follicle (i.e. folliculitis). Due to common skin bacteria, no different than on your shoulder, back, or anywhere else -- not special just because it's in the pubic area. Leave it alone, no more squeezing. See a doctor if it doesn't clear up soon, or if any spreading redness or fever.
