Many approaches: There are many natural treatments for depression, including counseling, healthy diet,exercise,fish oil, B complex, vit. D, 5-HTP and SAMe, herbs like St. John's wort, rhodiola and curcumin, homeopathic medicines & magnetic therapy. Treatment is best individualized. If one is hypothyroid then thyroid hormone helps. If one is allergic to gluten then avoid it, etc. I advise seeing an integrative doc.
