Hydrocodone: Yes, but that is a lot of tylenol (acetaminophen) and if you do it regularly you may hurt your liver. Hydrocodone is just for acute pain and is not a good drug for chronic pain.

It depends: You can safely take up to 3000mg of Acetaminophen per day. That would mean 6 hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5/500 tablets per day total, 1 every 4 hours, or 2 every 8 hours. But no more than 2 at once.
