Not meningitis : Most significant finding in meningitis is clouded mental status which you clearly don't have. I also don't have h/a or confusion

Doubt it: The symptoms you describe are classical for a enterovirus infection. These are the cause of the majority of gut infections in adults.

I woke up yesterday with a fever (that was high, at 39.4) and headache, I also felt that my throat was sore. I took co-amoxiclav every 8 hours (at 10 pm) and since then my body temp is at 37.2 and I have no headache. Am I not at risk for meningitis?
