An exam useful : A red eyelid bump that doesn't disappear with conservative treatment show be evaluated. It may not be a sty. The eyelid lesion may be a Chalazion that requires a more surgical drainage procedure. An evaluation will also rule out other eyelid lesions that may need a different treatment strategy. Make an appointment with a pediatric ophthalmologist.
