A member asked:

Collegiate runner. diagnosed with gastritis and had gallbladder removed. intense burning pain with exertion. is this part of the gastritis? advice

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: I'm not clear how the gastritis (stomach inflammation) led to your gallbladder removed. Gastritis usually has a relationship with eating or lack thereof. If this is a new pain since your gallbladder, I'd recommend you see a GI doctor to evaluate this further as you may have bile acid gastritis.
