Inhaled medications: Most people with asthma have a maintenance steroid or steroid combination inhaler, to be used every day, and an emergency inhaler to be used just briefly on rare symptomatic days. If you are using your emergency inhaler more than just a few days, please discuss with the doctor who manages your asthma.
