Mgt: Allergic reactions involve a wide variety of presentations. Sometimes contact rashes can cause a local reaction. Did he vomit, have a rash or any breathing difficulty? I would suggest seeing your PCP or having a virtual consultation online. Testing can be ordered by either physician.
