My 20 month old son has white spots on his tonsils, they are not inflamed or red. he had a fever at night for the last two days. should i be worried?

Not necessarily: The tonsils shed dead tissue intermittently and this is usually a whitish gray. It reflects the normal turnover of cells. It can also represent tissue left over from a previous burned out infection. If the kid acts normal, consider him normal.
