Magnesium level: Best way to determine deficiency is to check blood level of magnesium with normal level being 1.5-2.5 mEq/L. Nutrition is important & magnesium can be found in green vegetables ,some legume, nuts,seeds & whole grains. Magnesium can be taken orally or intravenously.
