Not bad: Blood counts typically fluctuate from one day to the other. The white cell count of 3.8 is close to normal. What you need to know is the percentage of the 2 main types of white cells( Nutrophils and lymphocytes). Typically they have a ration of 60% neutrophils and 40% lymphocytes(these are average numbers with a range which is quite wide. Send us the complete blood count(CBC) report, to be sure.
