You need to figure: out with your doctor why your feet and hands are swelling up. And if it is not an autoimmune or rheumatoid condition, then consider cutting salt entirely from your diet first including soft drinks, any restaurant or take out food, food from package or cans and food from wrappers. If that doesn't help, then you can try diuretics last. Sometimes medications should be the last resort.
