A member asked:

Can it be that a strauman dental implant can osseointegrate in 2 months time, as opposed, to a different manufacturer at 3 months?

Yes, I have: had many with their proprietary surface technology that integrated in 6 to 8 weeks.

Patience..: There may be slight variances in healing times between patients and implant surfaces, but a time tested waiting period is your safest bet. We live in a society where people want instant results, and unfortunately, from a biological standpoint, that isn't always possible. Imagine restoring the implant prematurely only to have it fail 3 months later due to inadequate integration.

No: 3 months is the time required for the integration of bone around implant.
