Not likely to help: I doubt this would help much but it wouldn't be harmful. If one is deficient in biotin, taking it internally helps hair growth but biotin deficiency is rare. Many shampoos have biotin added to it but I don't know of any research showing it helps to apply topically. It might be easier to add a few biotin softgels to your shampoo. It's safe to try.
