I seem to have severe post nasel drips hitch is stopping me sleeping i can't be in any position other than upright without coughing badly. advice?

See ENT: See your ENT MD for evaluation , diagnosis and treatment. May also be allergies, so a referral to Allergist may be in order. Move on this and get your life back. Good Luck.

NOSE SPRAY: OTC triamcinolone nasal spray (Nasacort) 2 squirts each nostril at bedtime. Before this, sniff water up your nose a few times, best in shower, so you can suck up or blow out most of the mucous. Before bed, get on hands & knees, cough up as much mucous as you can, then take a slug of guaifenesin (Robitussin, etc.).
