See a doctor?: Keep your hands dry and elevated. Consider strong cream such as Eucerin. Look for food or topical triggers. You may wrap your hands with clear plastic wrap after treating with cream. You may try OTC Cortisone cream. Overall though I would suggest you see a doctor as soon as you can.

See doctor: sounds like eczema with a secondary infection. Stay away for soaps water and chemicals. Use an unscented moisturizer like eucerine or aveeno (oatmeal) . and see doctor asap.
