See a dermatologist.: Typical ringworm or tinea corporis, can typically be treated with over the counter or presciption terbinafine or nystatin. Ketoconazole is a great drug, but typically used for a special type of fungus called tinea versicolor--different from tinea corporis. It sounds like you need a different oral antifungal than ketoconazole--see your derm. If no response, your derm will recommend a biopsy.
