A member asked:

Hep c non reactive result, then indeterminate, then non-reactive. i have no symptoms but may have been exposed. results from last week are negative. do i have the virus?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Most likely negative: results are negative results, and indeterminate sandwiched between 2 negatives likely count as negative too. Experts recommend waiting beyond the 3 month period where immune latency should not be a factor in the diagnostic process. I would make sure I get another Hepatitis C core antibody beyond the 3 month period.
