Spider???: Could be a mosquitos or a spider,or it could be allergic reaction.if you donor haves fever,or there no black discoloration in the middle. You can apply hydrocortisone cream alternate with topical antibiotics,avoid itching specially at night or while sleeping,for that you can take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) at bed time. Not any better see your doctor

Who knows?: I am not aware that any type of insect or flying species that sting have a peculiar shape to their sting. The more important point is how do you feel and what does the wound look like? is it small and red or has it enlarged and infected? If it has enlarged and begin to widen see your doc for the best treatment.
