Yes: The lymph node enlargement and bug bite are most likely related. The lymph node will likely regress soon as the inflammation subsides. I would not worry too much unless other symptoms occur or the regression is delayed.

Probably.: Kids have very reactive immune systems, and it's not uncommon for them to develop enlarged lymph nodes after minor insults. If it doesn't resolve in a few days, a fever develops or the child appears ill, see a physician.

Probably ok: The raised lymph node (if that is what it is) is likely benign. Could be related to the cold from last week, less likely from the bug bite (unless it got infected). Many children have lymph nodes that you can feel even when they are not sick. If it grows, turns red, or painful, then time to see your doctor. Also, if it persists more than 3-4 weeks, consider having it looked at if.
