Ask doc, friends!: One of the best parts of having a long term relationship with your primary care doc, is that the doc will be a valuable resource for referrals and send you to a surgeon with whom he/she is familiar and trusts. Also ask family and friends. Insurance is a factor too. Check your plan and see which surgeon is on it.
