Absolutely: Any tool that will enable the surgeon to have a better result is worth it. This is a major surgery so i would allow the surgeon to use any technology that he has available.

3D CT Scan: And accompany software for planning surgical procedures are amazing tools for viewing structures in 3d. Whether or not to use it is up to your surgeon. If he\she feels it will be beneficial, i would definitely wait if necessary, and take advantage of its use.
