Overactive bladder: Many medications available. Oxybutynin ER available in generic form & should be covered. Tolterodine might also be covered. If not covered U can appeal if oxybutynin was not suitable for you. Check with your insurance & discuss with your Dr.. Side effects for all these medications included constipation & dry mouth

OAB: There other medications for overactive bladder, most work in the same fashion, some are better than others for some people, but many do well on any of them. Side effect profile relatively the same as well… Ask your doctor for an alternative, or ask your insurance what is on their formulary for you in the same class. One that comes to mind is oxybutnin.

Overactive bladder: All of the medications to treat are similar a less costly alternative would be Ditropan (oxybutynin) you are on antihistamines also which can interfere with urination. See a urologist
