Strange statement: It doesn't sound worrisome. Very slender healthy people can have a long, slim ribcage enclosing a visually long lung, which is perfectly normal.

May not mean anything: may not mean anything if you are fine and you do not have asthma-whcih may cause lungs to be more inflated and you do not have any breathing problem

Can someone suddenly develop apical thickening in lung over one month interval without any noticeable respiratory illness? Is it d/t radiologist inter-reader variability? If not, what can cause such change? CXR ordered for upper back/shoulder pain?
Radiologist saw 3mm lung nodule. He mentioned it but never mentioned it again in the impression part of the report. Do I need follow up? Im a non smoker. They did Ct of abdominal and saw this. If I have one could the rest of my lungs be full of them?
