Not Exactly True: Depends on how long the procedure takes. Typically most epidural injections take about 15-20 sec of fluoroscopy time, that is in order of 10x less than typical chest x-ray. Now if injection takes longer than one minute (60 sec) of fluoroscopy time than you will be close for exposure. That's a lot of flouro for this injection!
