Sensitive...: The D-dimer test is a sensitive test but, unfortunately, not very specific. There are many, many conditions that can cause the d-dimer to be elevated, one of which is clot. For example, recent surgery will result in a d-dimer elevation. The whole clinical picture needs to be evaluated, not just the test. So, see your doctor for follow-up to see if there is an explanation for your test result.
