Chill....: D-dimers are high all the time. It is a very unreliable test because it is very often high, yet no problem exists. This is what we call a non-specific test. It is high but fails to be specific why. On the other hand, it is super "sensitive" because if it's negative, then there's DEFINITELY no clot. This is nothing to be worried about. You had the better tests and they were negative!
