Normal vs Not Normal: A heart rate of 70-95 is normal for most healthy people at rest. Eating a whole plate of anything right before sleeping is not exactly normal, so people should avoid doing that. Having rice, tuna and banana as one meal is ok, but really should include some leafy vegetables. Waking up with a pounding chest can be due to a nightmare, if there are no other symptoms. If it repeats, a Dr. can evaluate.
