Maybe, maybe not: She probably looked for trichomonas -- it's usually automatic when examining vaginal fluid for BV. However, it's not an accurate test: it misses at least half of all trich infections. But if she did the newer, modern DNA test for trich, it is highly accurate. Ask her about it.
