In general,: any instrumentation of the bladder (instruments being placed in the bladder including catheters) should be deferred if there is any sign of infection.I'm not sure exactly how it was determined you have a bladder "wall" infection, but attempts should be made to clear it before further procedures. I think seeing some particulates in the urine afterwards would be expected. Your urologist can advise:)
