GO NOW to ER : Something is not right. The child needs to be in the hospital for IV FLUIDS. The fact that he has been admitted four times already and keeps going back into hospital means something is amiss. He shd get extensive work up and one shd exclude serious illnesses like diabetes & intussception. If necessary you shd get another opinion and also involve a pediatric surgeon.

No answers here: This is a case for a pediatric specialty hospital with enough specialty support to sort out the problem.Sounds like you get a temporary fix but no diagnosis and no long term plan.Make plans to travel some distance if needed and do it now.
