Eye injury: If he is acting normal I would simply observe him. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is fine for any discomfort and will not mask the signs of a major injury.Try to apply ice as best as he will allow. Most injuries like this are minor and do not require intervention. Certainly even a minor fall can cause significant injuries but usually close observation is all that is required. Trauma: No. Ice to area. Advil/Motrin as needed for the swelling. If swelling gets worse or doesn't improve then should be checked out.

See primary doctor: Any injury near or around the eye should be evaluated by a physician. While falling from a standing position would not be concerning for a head injury, if there is concern for eye involvement seeing his pediatrician would be the most conservative thing to do. Don't think you need to rush him into ER. Likely just a small bruise from fall but he only has two eyes so would have him evaluated today.
