Rule out pregnancy: There is increased risk of pregnancy during the post partum period if no BC measures are taken. The convenstional wisdom that breast feeding is protective in this regard, is based on anecdotal experience . While u can easily rule out pregnancy now with urine test, please use BC in the future to prevent pregnancy. Ideally you should have a minimal of 2 yrs interval between children. Congratulation
