Need exam: The post partum check up is a great time to discuss your recovery, your mood, any concerns you may be having with breastfeeding or anything else. This isn't an appointment that should be skipped! your doctor will probably be able to tell what's wrong when s/he sees you, but one possibility is atrophic vaginitis, which commonly happens to breastfeeding women.
