Eye discharge: Conjunctivitis, also known as pinkeye, is an inflammation of the conjunctiva. Pinkeye may caused by some bacteria and viruses or it could be a manifestation of seasonal allergies. Symptoms include redness in the white of the eye or inner eyelid, thick, yellow, green or white discharge from the eye. The treatment differs with the offending agent.
