Acne: Benzoyl peroxide is a good treatment for acne, but for some people may not be enouigh. See your doctor - some therapies to consider would be topical antibiotics or oral antibiotics; there are other prescription medications available to treat acne.

Spironolactone: Several birth control meds may cause acne. Any birth control? Menstrual cycles normal? For adult women, antiandrogen is the most effective, easiest, least expensive approach. Daily oral dose of 25 to 200mg, usually 100mg. Will show clearing after 2-3 months, then maintain at same dose. Not if pregnant or in kidney failure.
