Many: There are many options across many drug classes for the treatment of insomnia ... One of the newest is a medication which targets the Orexin system (called, Belsomra) which I've had quite a lot of success with recently in the patients I treat. Hope that helps!

Ans: There are a few. But you should find the cause of the insomnia. See your doctor for a good exam. Then work on sleep and relaxation techniques. All medications have side effects so be cautious
