Natural sleep aids: Probably the most common natural sleep aid is melatonin. You don't want to use more than 5mg nightly, as more than that can actually be activating (keep you awake !) you could also try calming valerian about 2 hours before bed. Other options include following good sleep hygiene, exercising in the morning, or relaxing stretching in the evening.

Yes.Sleep is natural: Young healthy active person should not take Ambien (zolpidem) for sleep. Try regularizing your sleep wakeful cycle. Keep sleeping room separate from exciting activities, and away from TV. Warm shower, Meditation session, Soothing music would relax you. Melatonin, Camomile tea, Lavender, 5HT are some of the natural/Herbal supplement you can try. Tapper off Ambien (zolpidem). Remember it is mind over matter,
