Fibroids & Surgery: If you are symptomatic with the fibroids such as urinary frequency, pain, excessive or irregular bleeding, anemia or uterine size greater than a 3 month pregnancy then surgery is a consideration along with other treatment options. Discuss this with your MD and agree on a mutual acceptable plan of management.
